In the golden September, Luojia Mountain welcomes its new residents. The 2025 postgraduate orientation and entrance education activities for our school were rolled out in early September. Through a series of carefully organized events, the school helped new students integrate into campus life quickly and embark on their academic journeys.

On September 2, the 2025 postgraduate orientation officially began, welcoming a total of 54 new doctoral students and 93 new master's students. In the early morning, volunteers from the Postgraduate Student Union transported welcome packs and cultural T-shirts to the Meiyuan Sports Ground in advance, actively guiding new students through processes like registration and campus card collection. New students also wrote down their university aspirations on postcards and took photos in front of the welcome bulletin board. School leaders, including Party Secretary Li Qin, Dean Fan Huijun, Deputy Party Secretary Wang Siming, and Vice Dean Liu Wei, visited the site to慰问 staff and interact warmly with new students. In the afternoon, as the last few students completed their registration, the orientation concluded successfully.

On the morning of September 3, our school held a welcome meeting for new students and a patriotic education theme activity in the Leijun Science and Technology Building. Wang Siming attended and delivered a speech, expressing his welcome and expectations for the new students. To promote the spirit of patriotism, all new students, together with current postgraduate Party members, watched the live broadcast of the conference commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

On September 4, the school organized a series of special lectures as the "First Lesson" for postgraduates. To help students better engage in scientific research, the school specially invited Ms. Guo Ying from the university library to provide literature retrieval training for the newcomers, helping them master the use of academic resources.

Gong Jing, the postgraduate program secretary, detailed the training plans, course selection arrangements, and academic norms, encouraging students to plan their research and studies reasonably. Liu Yingjun, the postgraduate counselor, interpreted the scholarship and funding policies, the management of "teaching, research, and administrative assistantships," and various development platforms, encouraging new students to enhance their abilities comprehensively.

The entrance education also featured special invitations to Officer Meng Ling from the Luojia Mountain Police Station for anti-fraud publicity and Mr. Guo Xudong from the University Mental Health Education Center for psychological adaptation education, aiming to enhance the newcomers' safety awareness and self-adjustment abilities.

The series of orientation activities concluded in a warm atmosphere. May the 2025 fresh buds in the "forest of mathematics" take root in Luojia Mountain, sprout branches in the sea of scientific research, and write their own mathematical legends!
