To enrich the extracurricular lives of faculty and students and enhance interaction between them, the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Wuhan University held a faculty-student badminton friendship match on the afternoon of May 24th at the Faculty of Engineering Sports Hall. The event attracted numerous participants from the college, creating a lively atmosphere and showcasing the vibrant side of mathematicians.
The tournament featured five categories: team events, men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles, adopting a format that combined group rounds with knockout stages. Many academics, more accustomed to lecturing and research, swapped their formal attire for sportswear and competed alongside students, drawing enthusiastic cheers from the audience.

The participating faculty members and students agreed that beyond formulas and theorems, the arcs drawn by badminton rackets equally compose cherished campus memories.
